House of Commons Highlights: 2/21/22

After debating the imposition of the Emergencies Act in the House of Commons for nearly a week, the House has finally voted in favour by a vote of 185-151. The vote was split with the Liberal and NDP parties voting for and the Conservative and Bloc Quebecois parties voting against. If this was to be seen as a confidence vote, then the minority government led by Prime Minister Trudeau will continue on with it's mandate to govern. Any further details will be released in an update post.
